Midget Division
At the Midget level base paths are set at 90 feet, and pitchers throw from 60 feet, 6 inches. Games are 7 innings long.
The Midget division provides the opportunity for players to play at the AAA or AA level. Historically, the AAA team has been merged with Coquitlam/Moody. At both levels, teams travel to play other associations. The Midget AAA team is a Single Season team that plays from April to July. Midget AA plays from April to June with the opportunity to play Summer Season in July. As well, both AAA and AA teams may qualify to play in the Provincials.
At the AA level, all players bat in rotation. The -3 rule applies to bats. At the AAA level, the 9-man system is used and players must use wood or wood composite bats.
All players have the opportunity to try out for the AAA team that offers a more competitive level of play. Players not selected to the AAA team will be placed on one of the AA teams which offer a more recreational level of play. Players trying out for AAA need to be aware of the time commitment that will be expected and that there will be additional fees and travel expenses incurred if they are selected.
